It 's almost been three years since the terrorist attack in Boston, Massachusetts. Let me take you back to that specific day. Around 10;00am., April 15, 2013, more than 23,000 competitors were on their way to the finish line of Boston Marathon. Runners from all around the world came to race and many did not expect anything to happen. The course had been swept for anything that could potentially be a threat to people. The police officers found nothing. But that wasn 't the case. Two men, Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, were walking with backpacks down the path of the race. The two men had dropped the backpacks and started to walk away.

The lid of a pressure cooker was found in a rooftop near by. All evidence was sent to the laboratory for further investigation Both bombs were pressure cooker bombs which are high explosives. The Federal Bureau of Investigation led the investigation, assisted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Counterterrorism Center, and the Drug Enforcement Administration and named two official suspects. These two suspects were the two brothers, Dzhokhar and Tamerlan. After an MIT shooting, carjacking, a shootout, and countless hours of searching on one brother was alive. Tamerlan had died during the manhunt, but his brother was still out there.
After searching for hours, Dzhokhar was found in Watertown, Massachusetts inside a boat.At first Dzhorkhar was not read his miranda rights during questioning but as soon as he was read them he immediatly stopped talking. As the trial went on,April 22, he was found guilty of the bombings and was sentenced to death by lethal injection.
As the years go on and the month of april rolls around we remember the victims and the families that had been so tragically affected. The yearly race is coming up soon, which means the police force will be on full alert. We hope that everything goes smoothly and we don 't go through another tragedy
