The Boston Red Sox are a renowned baseball team. They are an American professional baseball team based in Boston, Massachusetts, that competes in Major League Baseball. They are members of the East division of the American League. The were established in 1901. The "Red Sox" name was chosen by the team owner, John I. Taylor, around 1908.

In 1970-1978 they were the Buffalo Braves, in 1978-1984 they were the San Deigo Clippers, now they are known as the Los Angeles Clippers. They play in staples center (the same arena as the Los Angeles Lakers). Their team manager is Dave Whol, the head coach is Doc Rivers, and the teams president is Doc Rivers as well, and the team owner is Steve Ballmer.

The Boston Massacre was a street fight that occurred on March 5, 1770, between a “patriot”. They were throwing sticks, snowballs, and trash at a group of British troops. The loyalists got very annoyed with the patriots so they shot into the mob killing five. The riot began when around 50 colonists attacked a British sentinel. Whilst other European countries also did this, the 12 colonies were ruled and ‘owned’ by the British, for example, the French had control of Canada, or at least a substantial part of Canada, like territories such as Newfoundland.
