What was the main reason for the Boston Tea Party, let me explain. Another thing in document A it states that England put taxes on everyday items which as the name states you have to buy everyday.This would cause so much extra cost to the colonists.The Boston Tea Party had elements showing it was about money as shown in document D and E and A.If I were a colonist I would be pretty mad about how they raised taxes when we did not rely on Britain. The Boston Tea party was mainly about power.In document B it showed a tax chart.The tax chart shows British colonists taxes and the Massachusetts colonists taxes.The British paid 10 X s the amount then the colonies.You might think that this is a money reason but it shows that the colonists should not be mad about their taxes because they have fairly low taxes.In document A the British gave the East India company full control of colonial tea trade.This made the colonists really mad because why does Parliament get to control who they buy tea from?Who made them in of evidence is that in document C it states "Colonists were not "free subjects"because they were "obliged to obey such laws made by men three thousand miles off..."Nobody asked their opinion about who will make there laws.If I were a colonist I would want to know who is making my laws and who put them in
