The first main character is Spencer Morgan, a 17-year-old boy who drops out of highschool to join the army and fight against the Nazis, even though his family urges him to stay out of the war. Midlothian Middle School has been the place covering up hundreds of pieces of history these past hundreds of years. So much history that one could have a hard time memorizing all of it. There is one story though, one that stuck around. Always there, knocking on the back of your head asking to come into your mind like when someone knocks on your door asking to come in. The spot where Midlothian Middle school stands today sure has been a hotspot for some interesting history.
Growing up in a lower-middle class home, I have learned to be modest and frugal. I have also learned that nothing comes free and that everything must be earned through determination and hard work. So when I joined the Cub Scouts at age 7, I was determined to excel and achieve the highest rank in scouting, Eagle Scout. Since then, I have been intent on changing things for the better in everything I participated in. Ergo, having a lifetime goal to give back to the Earth, whether it be directly by studying chemistry to help the Earth or indirectly by donating some of my time and money back into the science field to help fund future developments of technology, seems best for the world.
Hey Aurelo, great work on explaining the Miami-Dade Correctional Department and their boot-camp program. I didn 't know that most boot-camp programs are juvenile convicts around the ages of 14 to 24. I can imagine that this program can help these juveniles since they bring professionals to speak with them, as far as bringing in a criminal defense attorney who was once arrested and even went to the boot camp program. It 's shows that their are people want to help these juveniles in improving their life and plan them a better future. Like your example with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson show and how he visits them and talk about his trouble pass.

The Nickel Boys Essay In the novel The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead, racism against black people is a constant topic that the author embraces. Throughout this essay, I will talk about how racism was a big part of this novel, how this influenced people’s mindset to think that white people were in control of black people or felt they had a certain power over them, and how this impacted the treatment they had over black people. The setting of this novel, which is the Nickel Academy, portrays these topics because this was the housemen’s behaviour towards the black boys. From my point of view, the part I found most racist was when Elwood Curtis was sent to this academy for a false accusation of stealing a car.
Mastering the Art of Tension: A Visual Analysis of the Opening Car Drive in Funny Games The opening three-minute sequence of the 1997 film Funny Games begins with a slow-motion car drive which is a masterful display of mise-en-scene and visual storytelling that creates tension and suspense. From the very first frame, the audience is thrust into a world of unease and discomfort that is only compounded as the scene progresses. Director Michael Haneke employs a variety of techniques through mise-en-scene and visual elements such as static shots, slow motion, color, and sound to create a sense of dread and foreboding, setting the stage for the twisted and disturbing story that is about the unfold.

Scouts and leaders alike discussed the Eagle Scout rank with awe. I knew from my very first day that I did not want to be a part of the 95%, I was determined to become an Eagle Scout. It wasn’t until the end of fifth grade, when I joined my Boy Scout troop, that I understood the
I’ve learned that being an eagle Scout isn’t just a title, but a way on how to live your life. Since 2008, when I joined Boy Scouts, I’ve made so many friends and memories that I will never forget. One of the memories is Philmont.
