The tone is light-hearted and the script explores the concept of private vs. public, as well as the consequences of advanced technology. The script also offers a very likable protagonist in Brad. However, with that said, the script would benefit from more development. The areas to revisit include the structure, the pace, and the tension, as well as some story choices, and further character development. The opening sets up the ordinary world of Brad. He’s clearly stuck in the past and is resistant to the new technology of phone implants. It’s a nice irony and contradiction given that he works in the robotics-engineering field. The concern however is that his resistance to the implant is repeated several times in the first act and this hinders the pace. Essentially, he should be resistant and then something locks him into his decision to have the implant versus having several conversations with Missy and Tracker about not wanting too.
