In a month, her doctor had planned to do chemotherapy on her to get rid of the cancer before it started to spread (A + E). When the day came, she went back to the doctor and received her chemotherapy. She stayed in the hospital for about three weeks before going home. She began to lose most of her hair, but this didn't bother her because she knew that she won a battle against cancer. Through this moment in her life, Robin was well supported by her family and friends that cared deeply about her (ABC). A year after chemotherapy, Roberts was feeling better and she began to move on with her life.
