The difference is that the latter action is viewed with disgust. This proves that double standards are being practiced. Many women cover themselves with a breast-feeding blanket while the baby is being fed. Some even faces a wall during the feeding process. This is an indication of the high regard they have for the public. Why can’t the respect be reciprocal? One of the advantages of breastfeeding in public is that the mother is prioritizing her baby’s needs. This will ensure that the baby does not become crabby. A mother should never feel ashamed to take part in something that is important for the development of her child. In addition, it is not possible to stay indoors all the time as everyone has a need to socialize. This is when breastfeeding is also regarded as a bonus.
