On March 28th at approx 2030 Hrs, police responded to a burglary in progress and subsequently a shooting at 1104 Richard Lee Circle in Davidson County TN 37076. Upon police arrival, the deceased body of Terry Adams Jr DOB 09/16/1990 was laying in driveway at the residence. The Homeowner, Brent Bishop DOB 10/09/1974 was in street in possession of the firearm that caused the death of ADAMS. The weapon was recovered without incident and secured by responding officers. During the investigation and interviews of involved parties of Brent and Kristina Bishop the following evidence was produced. Brent Bishop left his residence prior to 2030 Hrs on March 28th 2018. Brent Bishop noticed the back door open. Brent Adams immediately determined that was suspicious due to that particular door never being left open. Brent Bishop entered the residence where he was confronted by the two suspects. Brent Bishop was assaulted by the suspects and was forced to enter the code into the safe. Brent Bishop accidently put the wrong code into the safe and was struck with the hammer causing a skull fracture to Brent Bishop. After the suspect left the residence, Brent Bishop went to another room in his house and retrieved a handgun (SEMIAUTO (SPRINGFIELD ARMORY) MDL XD-40; S/N: US184800). Brent Bishop stated he was worried about his wife and began to look for her, unknown where the suspects were or if his wife was being held against her will. Brent Bishop went outside the residcnce attempting to locate his wife, when another interaction ensued between the suspects and Brent Bishop. Brent Bishop fired two rounds striking Adams. The unknown suspect dropped the weapons he was carrying, from the safe, and fled on foot jumping a neighboring fence. while jumping the fence, the unknown suspect left a sock that was on his hand. The unknown suspect was described as a male black that was 6'1 and over 200 lbs. The girlfriend of Terry Adams, Nicole Rae Czajkowski DOB 09/22/1990, was interviewed (recorded and maintained by MNPD Property and Evidnce Division) and stated she dropped Adams off at 623 Belgium Drive at his friend "Devon's" house. Czajkowski provided a phone number of (615) 571-7806 that she stated that was "Devon". Czajkowski talked to Adams several times the day of incident on that phone number.
