Have you ever heard the name Chris Kyle? If you haven’t I’m going to tell you about him. He was one of the greatest Snipers in the world. He was also known as American Sniper. To his fellow soldiers his nickname was “Legend”. Chris is the deadliest sniper in America’s history. The good thing is that he was an American. He was a really good man of God, and he was a family man. (Kyle) Chris Kyle was born in Odessa, Texas. On the date April 8, 1974. His parents are Deby Lynn and Wayne Kyle. His father was a deacon of a church and his mother a Sunday school teacher. They lived on a cattle ranch in Texas. His father's job made them have to move all over Texas. He had over 160 confirmed kills, and countless unconfirmed kills. Breaking records in the United States Military. He was easily the best sniper in the United States history. He claimed that he wasn’t the greatest sniper around. He said he almost failed out of sniper school.(Luscombe) He was just put in those situations and had to take the shots. He was protecting his fellow soldiers. (Luscombe) He wasn’t there to rack up numbers of kills he had. He was there to protect every troop in that situation. No matter the circumstance. (Luscombe) Chris Kyle’s first kill was not a male. It was a female trying to throw a Grenade at the troops down below . He had to shoot her or she would of killed some of his fellow soldiers. He was hesitant at first, but he took the shot. After that, he wasn’t hesitant. He knew that he had to protect his fellow soldiers. He would get at the top of buildings that they have already taken over. He would set up there. He would watch over from like a bird's-eye view. If he saw a threat he would take them out. That’s how he got over one hundred and sixty confirmed kills. He probably has one hundred more kills that were not confirmed. His last kill as a Seal was one to be remembered. He shot a guy at 1,920 yards. That's a little over a mile. Thats one heck of a shot. The person he shot at was a really good shot with a sniper too. He was probably Kyle's mirror image. That was a unforgettable shot I can guarantee you
