After the show his father takes him home and yells at him and tell him that Nile couldn't handle it and ends up committing suicide, by using his father's gun. Nile's sad situation and lifestyle is an example of many children who are forced to do things to please their parents. There are unbelievably many different types of parents in the world. There are those who remind about Nils parents, those who control their children's lives, no matter what. Todd is a very shy and quiet boy, and his worst fear is that his life has no meaning. One school day the students were being told to write a poem and as usually he completed the assignment and spend many hours writing it, he was good at writing poems but didn't believe in himself. However, when Mr.Keating asked him about the assignment he lied and told him that he never did it. In fact, Mr.Keating could directly see the fear that Todd had and he knew that he was not telling the truth.
