Summary of the (BPP)
The Black Panthers are an african American revolutionary group, founded in 1966 in Oakland, California, by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale and four other friends. The party’s goal was to end oppression in black neighbourhoods that were less privileged and to end injustices of those being killed by law enforcement. The Panthers had a number of big influences from Karl Marx to Malcolm X. Malcolm X believed that all races were equal however that this was not represented at the time in the black community thought African American protesters should be armed and engage in conflicts when necessary which was something that the Black Panthers did separating them from people like Martin Luther King Jr. They also wanted to spread
