The genres of this book are mystery and adventure mainly surrounding the “undead” in New York, Roosevelt Island during the modern time. Molly Bigelow, an unusual and socially awkward 12 years old girl with heterochromia eyes (blue and green) who goes to the Metropolitan Institute of Science and Technology and hangs out at the morgue where her mom used to work at. Including the existence of the undead and they were the Omegas, a group to police and protect the undead. The reason the undead from before attacked her was that her mother’s necklace was a symbol for the Omega. Why did her mom have that? The truth is obvious, her mom used to be an Omega. After joining their team, she went through 4 weeks of training to be an Omega. It wasn’t simple, yet she aced it with only 4 weeks while it will usually take 6 weeks. Then, there goes her final exam; they will be going to a party, to be exact; flat lines parties for the undead. Throughout the test, everything was going fine in the Dead City where the undead live. No undead suspect that she’s a ‘breather’ (an undead slang for the living) and she passed the exam. Her life as an Omega has dragged her into many undead fighting problems. One of them included a book that was left at the morgue that three undead were desperately trying to get their hands on. From the book, there were clues about her mom. All those mysteries surrounding Molly had led her to meet the boss of all undead, Marek, and the one who stole her mother’s purse.
