This major is rich in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The only option after receiving your pre med degree is going to Med School or switching to nursing if you change your mind. The major focus is mostly on science with a little bit in Mathematics and Psychology. Pre-Med students have to take General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Calculus and Psychology. My major and career goals are to graduate from pre med with either A’s or B’s in my classes. My career goal is to use my knowledge to help the sick and dying. Advantages of Pre-Med is that it has all the necessities to get into Med school and helps prepare the students for the MCAT. Also, the pre-med major steers you in the right direction. Disadvantages of this major is that it has a lot of science courses and doesn't have a lot of classes to choose from. Obstacles preventing from achieving my goal are i am probably gonna struggle in the science classes and have difficulty taking science all four years. But i can overcome this obstacle by getting help, going to tutoring sessions, study groups and asking questions. I can try to make room for fun when taking my courses or study with friends so it can be entertaining and educational at the same time. My opinion on this major is that it is an excellent way to get into med school. It is perfect to help prepare myself for Med school and this major prepares you for the M-CAT as
