Some of my successes during this unit had been, my increased capability sin stage design and more specifically the ability to replicate a drawn set into an actual set and vice versa. I had also learned how to many sets in Broadway shows are made, their clarity, and their extremely fluent change; as seen in the Broadway Play termed as “Legally Blonde,” which had been about the journey of a Blonde girl stereotypically assumed as an unintelligent female, but as she pursues her fate she finds that you should follow your dreams and should set aside any barriers that may impede your goals. Design in a performance is the best, if not one of the bets elements in a performance as it direly explains mood, vibe, and general setting. Without design in a performance the general atmosphere will become merely established, subsequently disallowing the viewer to have any sort of immersion. Design also plays a great role in performances as it establishes the different character’s builds. If a character is dressed up in a suit and tie, they would be assumed as a sophisticated character, this is where the aspect of design plays a big role as it allows the audience to undertaken the plot and how it would look like in a real life …show more content…

I would like to cover “stage speech,” which is the teaching of fluency in talking and confidence. Commonly referred to as public speaking, with the primary purpose of informative presentations and fluently sharing one’s knowledge of a subject with an audience confidently. A second common reason for speaking to an audience is to persuade others. In our everyday lives, we are often called on to convince, motivate, or otherwise persuade others to change their beliefs, take an action, or reconsider a decision. Finally, public speaking will prove to be a very important unit to cover as it strongly correlates to Drama’s ideals, but also concurs with real life confrontations that may prove difficult to some
