Bsw Curriculum Reflection

During my undergraduate education I had the privilege to serve as the student representative on Appalachian State University’s BSW curriculum committee. I enjoyed being able to voice my opinions about how the BSW curriculum could grow and mature. With that being said, I have looked extensively at UNC Charlotte 's MSW curriculum. I appreciate the emphasis on both work with individuals at the micro level as well as organizations at the marco level. This curriculum aligns well with my interest in working with families. I value strengthening families and applaud that one of the advanced social work classed is practice with families. The elective courses that are offered are both interesting and pragmatic for social work practice in the field.
