The benefit of this is that the people at the top don’t have to worry about every single person bellow them and that they don’t have as much to do. With other people in charge of their own personal sector, each sector only needs one person to feedback on what happens in there sector which makes the jobs more efficient. The store director is at the top of Tesco’s organisational structure. They are in charge of each manager and also get information from the Regional Manager.
Paultons park organisational structure is made up of nine layers which is very hierarchical. The Managing Director is in charge of the whole business and has the largest span of control and he/ she has the most responsibility.
