Headquartered in Lake Jackson, Texas, Buc-ee's, which is owned and operated by Arch Aplin, III and Don Wasek, is a chain of convenience stores located in the Central, North, South, and Southeast regions of Texas. Buc-ee’s has 33 locations in the Central, North, South, and Southeast regions of Texas. In addition to their catchy billboards that border several major interstates within Texas, Buc-ee’s is also known by local and travelers alike for its clean restrooms (EON, 2012). In addition to the catchy billboards and clean restrooms, Buc-ee’s is known by the convenience store insiders as an industry leader. A recent GasBuddy C-Score Report Card rated Buc-ee’s as not only the top-rated overall convenience store nationwide, but also the top-rated convenience store when it comes to coffee, cleanliness, customer service, outdoor lighting, and you guessed it - restrooms (Convenience Store News, 2017). When speaking of demand, the smaller stores in the houston metro area are located in heavily populated areas to satisfy the number of customers that reside in these areas.
