These heroes often show bravery in the novels when they are desperate to get out of a dangerous situation. All they want to do is survive throughout their journey. Staying alive is very important to them which is why they become brave because they know that if they are weak, then they will fail. For instance, Louie wants to stay alive but he also doesn’t want to be controlled by Japan and he becomes a leader for standing up for what he believes in, he turns down the radio job for Japan because he feels that it is false propaganda and he shows his pride for the United States. Why are veterans are considered heroes? I think veterans are considered heroes because they put there life on the line all the time for are freedom. Every time they step out in fight they have a changs of getting shot or killed but they will not stop. They reck there life so we won’t have too.
Not many people wake up thinking of the people risking their lives daily. Most of us just think,”should I go to Starbucks or Sonic?” Have you ever had a loved one in the military .I have a lot of relatives who did fight in the military,think of all those soldiers dying and risking their lives for strangers. People they never met and still knowing the risk. Now that is heroism.
Every past and modern culture over the course of history, has its hero’s. A hero is a person or figure that others look up to and use as forms of protection. Many cherish the hero’s, they make up who we are today. The Anglo-Saxon hero, Beowulf, and the postmodern hero/hero’s, the soldiers, both show the traits of bravery, selflessness, and loyalty. To have the trait of bravery you have to have lots of confidence in yourself and have courage.
Heroes put others before themselves and will do anything to ensure that thing’s safety. Many people have either risked their lives or have loss their lives due to trying to save others. An example of this would be the man in the red bandana or Welles Crowther. Crowther was working in the twin towers as planes were crashing into them. Crowther could have ran away from the other people when the planes hit, but he chose not to spare himself, but to save others and sacrifice his own life.
A hero by definition means someone who is admired, idealized for courage, or outstanding achievements. Sitting Bull who was a man that fits in all those categories was born in 1831 at Grand River. There are many heroes in this world, but Sitting Bull was viewed as a hero to many people. His inspiration against racism, helping his people in anyway he can, and the saving of many indian lives. Some people might see Sitting Bull as villain, but that depends on which point of view you take.
The Brave men and women that fought in the wars to keep us safe and unharmed are the bravest people on earth. The fight to keep us here, know that we will live another day. They fight so that every day is a good day and no harm is done. The Land of the free, the way to do anything you want and not get harmed.
It 's not just the soldiers throwing themselves on top of expositions to save other who deserves to be recognized as heroes, it 's about all of the small sacrifices they make everyday that show how truly brave our soldiers are.

If I would ever have the opportunity to be chosen for the role in a movie, and there were an option between a hero and a villain, I would accept the offer of the villain role. There are many reasons why I would prefer to play the villain rather than the hero. For one, I get to act like a horrible person and not get into trouble for it. I love the person that I am, being as respectful and nice as possible, but sometimes it can be tiring. Acting like a villain can be the most interesting but the most challenging.
