Bullying means the repeat use by one or more students that causes physical or emotional harm to another student or damage to another’s property. A promotion of fear, a hostile environment for other students, not to mention the substantial disruptions it creates to an orderly process of a given classroom, and its management. Prevention must begin early to prevent the emerging behaviors. Bullying is a daily occurrence, and comes in all shapes and forms. Fostering and nurturing the development of a positive social environment and interactions with others is essential to manage the ongoing bullying issues before our society. They always appear to be in a harsh state of mind, with a negative tone and manner, including their body language. Dominating young girls, girls that show superiority, manipulation, and power, at the tender age five. Attempted, I am to analysis the bullying to see if it takes place during an isolated time, if it happens during free play, social time, or on the playground, at lunch, walking in the halls, performing group or individual tasks, when the teacher was not looking, departing for the day. Are these students bored, upset, attempting attention, effected by a current an earlier action of another, even something from home? Was another student misbehaving towards these two students that creates a continuous bullying response, it was unknown when I began my evaluation of the two students. As a first year teacher, I knew I had a challenge before me, and wanted to address it promptly, therefore, I began journaling the occurrences and non-occurrences. Opening my eyes to the environmental setting so I could understand and determine what the stimuli’s were for the aggressive behaviors, including the frequency and duration. In general, once you understand the stimuli you can begin an intervention and implement positive replacement behaviors. I believe verbal bullying is one of the hardest to detect, because it can be achieved quietly, and without drawing attention to the given situation over physical bullying which appears to have volume
