Patterns, Designs, and Strategies Patterns, designs, and strategies are business techniques that makes Burgers’ Smokehouse a top producer of smoked meats. The company constantly is trying to please consumers and customers around the world.
Patterns
Patterns can be described as a building blocks or a foundation that can be used to create a better work environment and all-around business success. They maybe something routine to an innovative idea presented by an employee, consumer, or customer. Unbridling and Long-tail are two patterns to describe the Burgers’ way.
Unbridled
When the word, unbridled, is used in business it refers to the idea that the company is open to changes. This could be done through customer relationship, innovation, and infrastructure.
Customer relationship
Burgers’ Smokehouse has customer relationships through their country store, restaurants, and retail. Restaurants such as Waffle House, Cracker Barrel, and Bob Evans have certain ways they want their products whether that be the cut size and/ or the sauce on the products. The …show more content…

The equipment is bought from different companies, one is Cryovac (vacuum sealing), and maintained by Burgers’ maintenance department. The equipment consists of the High Pressure Processing machine (used to destroy bacteria on the finished products packaging), several specific cutting type machines, heating or cooling machines, and fans to maintain certain temperatures, packing machines, and shipping equipment (scanners and computers to track shipments). The employees are hired by Penmac and go through at least a 90-day probation period before being hired. Work performance and attendance are deciding factors for a person to be hired fulltime by Burgers.
