1. While figuring out whom to interview for the paper I wanted to pick an individual who has exceeded on all levels: personal/real estate investments, corporate sales, management, and more importantly entrepreneurship. I decided to interview Robert Niemeyer. Rob is the founder and owner of Cellar Door Corporations. Rob created Cellar Door in March of 2011. For a business that makes its money through the sales of alcohol, there are many licenses that must be met before the sales begin. Therefore, the first step that has to be taken is the patent license. For each new wine brand that is created there cannot already be a name chosen on the alcohol market. Consequently, the failure to recognize this can lead to a lawsuit and/or shut down of the specific brand that broke the patent rule. Overall the meeting I had with Rob went very well. He made it a comfortable environment. I didn’t feel like I was interviewing God. Rob made it seem like we were on the same playing field in life. He was also able to provide me with a lot of insight and knowledge and even asked me a few questions about my interests. Relating to what was said in class, I would have never pointed out Rob in a group of people and call him an entrepreneur. He expressed that being an entrepreneur is definitely difficult, but it’s not impossible. Anyone that puts his or her mind to it can accomplish anything. 8. Interviewing Rob definitely influenced me to become an entrepreneur. He added great insight to both the pros and cons. He discussed how great the rewards are after having fought a two-year battle. He also expressed that if I needed any help along the way through my own ventures to reach out to him. That added a tremendous amount of value to me. It also made me feel more comfortable with the idea of being an entrepreneur. I now have a successful entrepreneur to run ideas through or seek advice
