For this assignment, I going to write about Nike’s corporation foresight. Nike is an American corporation founded in 1964 by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. The Corporation engages in the sale of athletic footwear, apparel, and accessories as well as the design, development, and marketing (Nike, Inc. Company Description, n.d). A corporate foresight refers to the practice, capabilities, and ability of a firm. The corporate foresight would allow the company to detect errors in the early stage, understand the consequences, and predict an action of strategic planning that will ensure the company’s long-term sustainability. According to Forbes’s analysis, Nike’s corporate foresight would be Market Cap and return to investors.
