Although businesses advertise with billboards and handouts, businesses should advertise with social media. If a business advertises through social media they can reach a plethora amount of people all over the world because people share what ever the business is promoting through their own social medias. They can interact through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,Snapchat, linkedin, Google plus, Pinterest, Youtube, Spotify, and Soundcloud. The business would keep their customers on the loop to what's going on as well as answer any questions a person has. They can promote by announcing sales and giving out giveaways. Businesses use social media to attract customers and give them a reason to buy products. Social media helps promoters promote products faster and easier. It helps build customer relationships. If a customer sees that a business is on social media it shows that that business cares about their customers and that they can be reachable anywhere. It helps the customer trust the business and the products. If a person is following a business on social media for instant like on instagram then that person would have post notifications turned on and will get notifications every time the business posts a new picture of video promoting their products. Each social media has its advantages. Facebook is used to boost productivity, attract new people, build new relations, engage customers, increase brand exposure, and spread the company's message using text, photographs, and video clips. Instagram is used to spread a message quickly through multiple platforms like a call to action or the release of a new product. A business uses social media to seek talent by going on youtube or soundcloud and browsing through people's channels to find out who can play an instrument well or sing great. People are constantly posting videos of themselves singing, dancing, playing an instrument, blogging, sharing thoughts, creating videos, etc. This then means that if a person is good, the video will get shared and then transferred to other social media site to then gain recognition. Businesses can also look on twitter and instagram to seek talent. A business can find employees through twitter, facebook, instagram, snapchat, and linkedin. Kristian pointed out that “On Linkedln's most basic level, companies can search for talent and establish relationships with potential candidates for free. To get started, a firm must simply create a profile for its business on the Web site; like posting jobs, sending private messages directly to any Linkedln user regarding career opportunities; saving and managing profiles of prospects; and asking for introductions to people inside target companies.
