In this digitalized age, Social Media has become a crucial part when it comes to events. Any businesses that are not incorporating Social Media is losing out to their rivals. If Social Media is being carried out correctly, it can provide an interactive and vivid experience to those attending the event. Sharing of Content. All the pictures and videos taken during and after the event to be shared on all Social Media platform. This is to get everyone at the event to see that their photo is being posted and would share it further with their friends and families. Businesses should also encourage the attendees to tag themselves so as to increase media reach.

Just like how Social Media has shaped the demand for Event, the Event Experience has also been influenced by Social Media. Social Media platforms allows people to share their experiences from a particular Event and as the it gets passed around through the word of mouth, more audiences would be reached and they would be anticipating more upcoming events from the businesses.

Nowadays, people does not only want to be just a consumer or an attendee of an Event. Social Media platforms allow people to be able to share their thoughts and views and thus people would want to also be a part of an Event or a co-creator of an event. Wysong et al. (2011) discussed that attendees prefer to attend an event and being able to voice out their opinions regarding the information that is being gained from the event. Social Media encourages information interaction between attendees and businesses by providing attendees a platform to leave a review and businesses can reflect and improve on it
