This was a very interesting book and I love it. I would recommend more kids to read
Sometimes events in your life can be difficult and frustrating but once someone of something helps you, you feel so much better. I think this book is such a moving story
The book consists of many compelling short stories that revolve around the major conflict, which allowed me to read the book without losing interest. However, the book was not just entertaining to read, but taught me many life lessons and allowed me to realize many important facts. For example, in the book, Denver and Ron are two opposite people that have virtually nothing in common and are actually a little bit scared of each other at first. However, after they decide to reach out to one another, they not only become best friends, but end up changing each others’ lives for the better. This reminded me that I could be a little bit more outgoing and friendly in life, reaching out to other people instead of seeing the same couple of faces every day.
Over the past week I read The Catbird Seat. The first time I read it, honestly, I had no idea what I had read. The second time I read it I viewed the story as if it was nothing but madness. I then read it a third time and viewed the story as a success in a brilliant way. I was very amused in many different ways each time I read the story.
In the end, i would most certainly recommend this memoir to anyone and everyone else. I will most likely reread this work in the future on my own time. I’m sure the person i will recommend it too will have trouble putting it down like i did and the person who recommended it to me
This made me rethink how I look at my life because this story of a triumphant young boy showed me that you can do whatever you want to no matter how much people doubt you. I like the way the author has written this heart wrenching yet
Although he learned that he had to learn to cope with every single physical, emotional and mental stress factor that came his way. He learned with every guy in his platoon, they all stuck together. This novel was a very well written book. Each story was different, and gave a different aspect on war every time. The emotions were real, and very descriptive.
I hope you one day or time in your life you get to read this
I have been reading the book " Whiskey words & a shovel " by R.H. Sin it is a poem book about his feelings and his thoughts about relationships and women. He is a feminist and talked about how women should be treated and how they deserve better than what they get and I love it. I respect Sins' work so much I like what he writes, how he writes it and why he writes it. It is beautiful art it if good good having a male feminist that writes about how he feels and is not afraid to say whats on his mind.
Literary analysis America’s war heroes all have the same stories to tell but different tales. Prescribed with the same coloring page to fill in, and use their methods and colors to bring the image to life. This is the writing style and tactic used by Tim O’Brien in his novel, “The Things They Carried”. Steven Kaplan’s short story criticism, The Undying Certainty of the Narrator in Tim O’Brien’s The Things They Carried, provides the audience with an understanding of O’Brien’s techniques used to share “true war” stories of the Vietnam War. Kaplan explains the multitude of stories shared in each of the individual characters, narration and concepts derived from their personal experiences while serving active combat duty during the Vietnam War,
It taught me that strength and perseverance can make a significant impact in life. I also learned that forgiveness and the ability to forgive is much more powerful than I ever realized. This novel sucked me into the story and its characters and took me on an emotional ride of highs and lows. Finally, it forced me to reevaluate my previous judgement of the homeless.
Exploration and discovery have played a huge role in the process of science. In different areas of arts and science exploration and discovery have been used. The discovery that I wrote about is the discovery of Uranus. A man named William Herschel in the year 1781 discovered the planet of Uranus. It was the first planet ever to be discovered that was not visible to the naked eye.
Ever since my great grandpa told me about it I have watched movies and played games about it. Though I have never really read books about it except for informational ones, This book might change that for me. It was a really interesting read and I’m glad you had our class read it. (Do you have any other war books that are good to read?)
When I first met someone who didn’t like the book I was beyond shocked. Right at that moment, I realized that reading has its own effects on me. Reading has changed my writing skills, it has improved my knowledge and lastly, it has helped me manage my stress while going through hard times. Without reading I wouldn’t be the person that I am today.
