Characteristic Analysis on Callum Hunt. Callum Hunt ( or Call for short ) is a 12 year old boy who was invited to try out to go to the Magisterium. At the Magisterium he will learn how to use elemental magic ,but there’s one thing, Call doesn’t want to go. After being accepted, no matter how hard he tried not to be, He was taken with other kids to the magisterium. The Magisterium is hidden in the Luray Caverns. Call originally tries to escape the Magisterium or get himself expelled until he starts to enjoy being there. In the book you will see how Call is sneaky, caring, and in a way dead. Call is very sneaky which he has to be in order to walk around the Magisterium at night without being caught. Call and his friends do a lot of sneaking so they can try to solve problems. Call snuck out of his room one night to get into Master Rufus’s office. Once in the office he used the tornado phone to call his dad. After Call let the lizard elemental free it ran into Call’s room. Call could have kick it out, but instead he let it stay in his room. In the book Call’s friend Aaron decided to take Havoc (the chaos ridden wolf) out on a walk, but after a while he didn’t come back. Call was in the infirmary with a bruised leg and he already had one messed up leg from when he was a baby. Even though he has two messed up legs he still went out with Tamara (on of his other friends) to find Aaron. When Call thought he was about to be killed by The Enemy of Death, in his head he said “ I hope Aaron and Tamara had made it past the chaos ridden, out the window, and back on the path toward the Magisterium” (Author name 268). Most people would hope they were coming back for
