Citizens of Canada should pay more attention to global warming
People of Canada should pay close attention to global warming. The citizens already pay close attention to global warming but now that countries are not taking steps to help prevent global warming, putting it on us to try to prevent global warming. The proof of global warming is everywhere, temperatures are getting hotter. Many people of other countries believe that global warming is real but that does not mean that they are doing something about it. Here is some proof that citizens of Canada should pay more attention to global warming.

Furthermore, according to EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) the earth's temperature has risen by 15 F over the century and it is believed to rise 0.5 to 8.6 F over the next 100 years. The carbon dioxide and other gases being let out into the atmosphere is at an all time high through the last century. According to NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) scientists agree that the earth's rising temperatures are contributing to longer and hotter heat waves, more droughts, heavy rainfall, and much more powerful hurricanes. Scientists have also found that the number of north atlantic hurricanes has risen since the early 1980s, which because of global warming a category 3 could become a category 4 hurricane. If this happens the death rate for storms on the coast would destroy people's homes and tear families apart.
