The article talks about the U.S government is intension to lay a tariff on Canadian lumber industry, due to the Softwood Lumber Agreement (SLA) with the US has expire, and the possible consequence will make.

Tariff is the tax given by the government on the goods that are buying from other countries. Since the tariffs is the method of protectionism trade, place the policy on the one side could help the U.S lumber industry, but on the other hand that will become a night mare for Canadian.
