Captain Nemo is a very interesting person to read about. He lives in one of the strangest ways, in the waters in a submarine called the Nautilus. Does he not trust the people on the land? Captain Nemo’s general outlook on the world is seen by Aronnax’s statement. “His riches are safer than in the chests of the State.” (the book) He does not trust men in general. He thinks that they are out to get him.
