I am a senior in the mechanical engineering program at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas and am seeking full-time employment in the Kansas City area following the Spring 2018 semester.
I would like to become the next valuable member of the P&G engineering team. As a well-rounded engineering student, I am ready to learn how to maximize my effectiveness and value as an employee. In addition to my strong classroom performance in physics, mathematics, chemistry, and other engineering courses, my manufacturing experiences as an intern at Rehrig Pacific Company and Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc. (BIVI) have given me an appreciation for manufacturing processes and an understanding of how to create value for a company. As a resident assistant and through many group projects built into the engineering curriculum at Benedictine College, I have developed my communication, interpersonal, time-management, and critical thinking skills and become a strong team member. My positive attitude compliments my solid work ethic. I have also enjoyed coursework covering many different topics including physics, chemistry, the thermal sciences, economic analysis, data acquisition/signal processing, and computer coding using MATLAB. A diverse skill set enables me to work well within multi-disciplinary teams like yours.
Learning will continue to be a priority as a member of the Procter & Gamble team. My 3.601 GPA demonstrates my ability to understand difficult topics, but learning will extend far beyond the classroom.
