Night Toolpusher - Kantan IV Semi-submersible (Mar 2009 - Mar 2010) Location: Australia & New Zealand Key Duties: • Managed and directed all operations on the rig, activating work permits, liaising with the maintenance department on preventative maintenance and breakdowns matters, together with the deck crew regarding boat and deck operations. • Maintained rig equipment and spare parts inventory, ensuring high level of safety standards at all times. • Supervised drilling operation, assisting the rig floor, ensuring that the operation is conducted safely and efficiently. • Worked alongside the Subsea Engineer on the blow out prevention equipment system (BOP) maintenance. • Ensured the accurate recording and/or tracking of all drill pipe and sub rotating hours, as well as footage drilled for servicing and all other scheduled maintenance on nights. • Reported to the Senior Toolpusher who worked throughout the day, and took responsibility for waking him or the OIM if required during the
