The life of a barbers is far more than that of the occupation within itself. It’s a combination of barbering, counseling, fashion, trends, etc. This also depends on what type of barber you aspire to be. Being a young man, my mom has taken me to barbershops for as long as I could remember. I fell in love with just the atmosphere, especially on game days. My barber became my mentor. Where else could you go and feel like you fit right in with a group of older guys. I used to go home and pretend to cut by grandfather’s, hair. The way my barber would take the time and carefully line those guys, the smell of the oil on the clippers, and the sound they made as the glide across the head.
