“Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny” (Lewis). In life, people are often faced with trials and obstacles; some give up and some build from that in order to achieve greatness. As a child, Robert Garcia was very poor, he didn’t grow up with much of anything yet he didn’t dwell too much in his situation; instead he looked to the future. Robert Garcia had hope for a brighter future. Garcia started helping his dad around the shop and soon developed his passion for cars. He worked hard day in and day out. Garcia is now one of the best know mechanics worldwide. His ability to excel in life has encourage others to look beyond the current situation. The Dunwoody College of Technology offers many programs, to be admitted to the Dunwoody programs it is required for one to graduate in the top half of high school if not than can attempt and must pass an entrance exam. There are two different programs that one can enroll into either the Automotive Technician Apprenticeship Cooperative or of course Technology program and each program is two years long which is needed. “Automobile Mechanics.”
Money wise on average an Automobile Mechanic earns ranging from 18, 00 to 53,000 a year. Of course earning depend on the mechanical themselves, whether or not they know what they’re doing. The key to a good salary as well as the job itself would be knowledge. Without knowledge a career success isn’t something that happens.
