Elementary school math Olympiad successes effectively laid the ground work for pursuing software expertise. Realizing my high school needed significant computer education improvements, I joined and soon became the App Club’s President, teaching peers to code well beyond the school’s two computer science classes offered, resulting in furthering my coding knowledge as I ardently prepared for teaching growing classes. A major extracurricular generator of computer science interest, I quickly leveraged my organizational skills to reform the flawed curriculum. I recruited flocks of new students by building a base dedicated to programming. The Stamford Hackathon introduced a whole new world of competence. Though underaged and woefully underprepared, my partner and I made the most of our time there with a goal of talking to as many participants and guest speakers as possible to gain realistic insights into high-level application code programmers’
