INTRODUCTION:
Alex Sander was a newest and youngest product manager at in Toiletries Division of Landon Care Products Inc. head quartered at Connecticut. Everyone at Landon’s Marketing Department have been reviewed (360 degree) for the development of the department. Alex Sander being reviewed as a hard worker, committed, multitasker and an approach of an entrepreneur was called by his boss Sam Glass to …show more content…

But Alex did not care much. As we know problem is his behavior, not her work. So organization should involve psychology experts to consult Alex.
As we know from the case that Alex Sander has two career paths either a manager or owner in a small startup. And organization cannot afford to lose a super performer employee. So organization should keep Alex as a manager and conduct training to improve the situation.
As Suggested by Sam Glass (Alex Sander’s Boss) “Your peers respect you, but I doubt many would see you as a leader”. Organization should send Alex to attend leadership classes.

MANAGERIAL LEARNINGS:

When any new system is implemented in an organization, there should be clarity about the system to all the individuals.
A single great quality is not enough to excel in one’s career. Performance can take one to the top, but his attitude ensures that he stay there.
One should identify his positive and negative traits and then work towards reinforcing positives and eliminating
