On April 15, 2017 at approximately 1127 hours, I responded to Chic-Fil-A located at 80 Oxford Road in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival I observed a black male with no shirt on, carrying a backpack at the neighboring convenience store. I made contact with the subject and his girlfriend who identified themselves by name and D.O.B. as David C. Bishop 01/29/1997 and Jennifer L. Buchanan 03/04/1975. I immediately observed Bishop’s left hand was covered in blood at which time I asked him how he hurt his hand. Bishop stated that he had been arguing with his girlfriend after she nearly drove into another vehicle at which time he became upset at her, so he punched the window seal.

Adam Gopnik, New York University, Institute of Fine Arts graduate and a long time writer for The New Yorker explores his relationship to these women in his article “Bread and Women” (AdamGopnik.com). Gopnik describes how his sojourn into bread baking uncovered insights about his mother and spouse. He utilizes allusions, epithets, and dialogue to portray his wife and mother as important individuals who are unique and interesting in their own rights. Gopnik uses allusions to ancient buildings and famous figures to clarify the complex personalities of his beloved muses.

I can infer that the people who were standing in the Bread Line were poor and hungry. This photo captured my attention because I love food and it reminded me of standing in the cafeteria line at lunch. The mood was trying to speculate that their was lots of people that were hungry and poor and could only stay alive from being in that line and being able to eat the food that was provided for them for free. The photographer wanted to show how hard it was to get through the day, and showing the one and only meal people would look forward to having. Explains and shows the only government relief programs also.

Strength is the word that comes to my mind when describing the book, The Handmaid’s Tale. This theme is seen throughout the book which is seen in Offred the majority of the time. In Gilead strength is what pushes her through each day. I believe that Offred is not the only one who shows strength, but many other women in the story do as well. Offred has an enormous amount of strength when she is forced to have sex with the commander.
Across the globe humans face poverty, unemployment, natural disasters, and other life-altering problems. The thing that those problems have in common is causing the pain and misery of food not being on the table. Many people and organizations are fundraising and collecting donations to help those in need. Programs educate and teach people to create self-sustaining food sources. Everyday food Abstract The article discusses the role of food as an instrument of identity and a channel of contact through cultures. In this regard, food plays an essential role in the rebuilding of a familiar context in which migrants can feel temporarily
Cultural distance is known to be an issue, which influences organisations having broad horizons and considering investment in international markets. It is known that the new investments in international markets require organisations to maintain higher levels of finance and this is the reason for which larger organisations consider such two-faced strategy. It is said so because a foreign market can be considered as profitable as risky relying on the fact that organisations consider the cultural factors (Holden, et al., 2015). As per House (2004), the strategy makers of different organisations are mostly attracted by international markets due to which they underestimate the financial risks through which organisations are going through. For this
