On 3 June 1992 the High Court of Australia handed down its decision in Mabo vs The State of Queensland, ruling that the treatment of the Indigenous property rights based on the principle of terra nullius was wrong and racist towards the Aboriginals. The court ruled that indigenous ownership of land has survived where it has not been extinguished by a valid act of government and where Aboriginal people have maintained traditional law and links with the land. This legal recognition of Indigenous ownership called Native Title. The court ruled that in each case native title must be determined by reference to the traditions and customary law of Indigenous owners of the land.

Italian entrance to World War II with the Axis powers can best be described as a rash decision made by a fascist tyrant: Benito Mussolini. After Mussolini’s dismissal in July of 1943, American occupation of Italy continued in order to push German soldiers out of Italy. Even after Italian liberation in 1945, American occupation continued to aid in the implementation of a sound government and to continue establishment as allies (History). Between American and Italian people during occupation laid a barrier of hierarchy of American society and ignorance of the culture and history of Italy. Through the guidebooks given to American soldiers during occupation of Italy, American attempts to destroy this barrier can be seen through the progression
In regards to the Brent Small case, I personally believe that Mr. Smalls shouldn't be found guilty due to the lack of evidence. Although there was a witness who saw what happened, the evidence isn’t consistent with the case. The vehicle did match the description but the witness was unsure of the license plate and the damage to the vehicle isn’t significant to the crime committed. I don't believe that the evidence is strong enough to convict Mr. Smalls.
During the time period of the early 1900s, many things such as immigration, non-communism, and inequality were major conflicts, but sadly a way of life for most. A major example of this unfairness was the case of Sacco and Vanzetti. This case took place in the 1920s when two Italian men who immigrated from Italy named Sacco and Vanzetti were put on trial and executed (Britannica), because of supposedly robbing a store, being pro-communist, and the court showing signs of inequality, which highlighted the injustice of this time period. As a cause of these disastrous events, both Sacco and Vanzetti were executed on August 23, 1927 (Frankfurther).

The fight for equal rights Civil rights has had a big impact on the world. Unfair judgement, unequal acts, and mistreatment were given to many people who just wanted an education or a right to go to school without segregation. They weren't given fair treatment, while not given a word in their opinion. Today, the equal rights movement has diminished this. Three Supreme Court cases have contributed to the civil rights movement by pushing freedom towards unfair actions: Brown v. the Board of Education, Loving v. Virginia, and Regents of the University of California v. Blakk.
