Hospital Social Service is a small agency specializing in providing services relation to health, home care, and basic needs assistance. The agency employees consist of over 20 staff that has many years of experiences in health care, home care, and basic needs field. Metro Social Services is a free service agency open to the communities near Birchville, California.

Identifying Information: Ms. Joan Cassell is a 23-year-old young Caucasian woman who lives at home with her family. Ms. Cassel family consists her mother, Jean Cassel who is 65-year-old, her oldest sister, Lorraine who is 32-year-old and works as a cook at a local retirement home, and lastly, her older sister Frances who is 29-year-old who is a single parent with a six-month-old …show more content…

Cassell problem is her physical stable. Ms. Cassell is mentally capable of understanding and capable of changing her behaviors. In addition, Ms. Cassell family support is a great strength of bringing in resolution. Throughout the years Joanne had suffered medical problems and has many needs the Cassel family had always been there to support her. In spite of Ms. Cassell frequent tantrums and demands, her family still attended her needs and patiently comforts her. Moreover, not only does Joanne receive support from her family, she also receives support from the community. The community support was strength and resources available to bring resolution to the problem. The community support was willing to transport her to the bus stop and hospital. In the same way, there is optional available resource to help bring resolution to Ms. Cassell case. There is such insulin that is available at home, making transportation a less problem to Ms. Cassell. Despite, Ms. Cassell does not follow her instructed diet plan her family can cook according to her diet to help improve her health. Cassel is a difficult patient who has many needs and frequent tantrums. To have a social worker whom will be able to handle Ms. Cassel, it must be a middle-age Caucasian woman who have great experiences with clients like Ms. Cassel. In addition, that person must have patient and skills that will be able to touch many bases with Ms. Cassel with not much difficulty. Importantly, it must be a social worker who is open-minded and understanding to prepare any experiences Ms. Cassel will expose such as by soiling or unable to control her bowel-bladder during their meeting sessions.
