DESCRIPTION OF THE FAMILY Rebecca was born in Halifax, NS. Her father’s family was from PEI, so she spent almost every summer on PEI as a child. Rebecca reports her parent’s relationship as poor. She said her father was an alcoholic and would tell her nasty things about her mother.
A criminal background check revealed Jerri Jones was negative for CANTS , On the Illinois State Police (7/08/15) and FBI (7/08/15) she had a charge for theft by deception on 1/7/13. The charge for theft by deception was while she voulnterring at the Hope Center. She was handing food off her truck to friends. She also has contempt of court on 09/3/1999 due to not pyaing for a speeding ticket. Inquiries into the National Sex Offender Registry and the Illinois Sex Offender Registry on 11/09/15 revealed no offenses for Jerri Jones.

Andrea Yates at the time she committed her crime was a thirty-seven year old married mother of five children from Houston, Texas. Her five children, Noah 7, John 5, Paul 3, Luke 2, and Mary 6 months was murdered by their mother by her drowning them. She held each one of her children under the water in the bathroom bathtub. This will enable both parties to deal with any issues that may arise within the family, school or community. It also my belief that parents should have an active part in their child’s learning and be able to lend a hand whenever necessary, and having open communication with them will allow this transparency and connection between home and school. The community is vital in ensuring that the facilities around the community and school is appropriate for the different children and families to live in and grow. A very good example of this successful collaboration is the Reggio Emilia approach in Italy.
