Healthcare is a universal need, one which everyone will seek at least once in their life, one which we assume brings about comfort and help to individuals in society. Within the novel, “The Outsiders”, written by S.E Hinton, it conveys the rivalry between the two gangs, the Socs and the Greasers. They constantly encounter conflict since the Socs are wealthy, living on the West side of town unlike the Greasers who are lower class, living on the opposite side of town. Each gang consists of multiple members, however, for the Greasers, particularly one member stands out from the crowd, Sodapop. His personality reveals that he is someone who endlessly provides comfort while keeping the peace but still maintaining a happy-go-lucky attitude.
Regardless of age, gender, and race, everyone encounters different problems in his or her daily life. Whether the problems are as simple as getting up in the morning or untangling the headphones, people need to find a solution to solve them. The only thing that matters is what solutions they will seek. In David Foster Wallace’s “Good People,” he narrates a story about two college students, Lane Dean, Jr. and Sheri Fisher, who face a dilemma of choosing between either abortion or keeping their baby. They are torn between these choices because they come from a religious family, in which abortion is unethical and immoral.
The use of irony in “A Good Man is Hard to Find” Flannery O’Connor makes liberal use of irony, an important literary tool, in her story “A Good Man is Hard to Find”. The author juxtaposes a seemingly sterling protagonist, the Grandmother, with an abominable antagonist, the Misfit. The meeting of these two main characters culminates in the unexpected murder of a family of five who had set off, innocently enough, on a vacation. Through irony, the author elicits doubt as to which of the two main characters may be the more steadfast and congruent person.
The Purpose of Psychopaths in “A Good Man Is Hard to Find” In the short story “A Good Man Is Hard to Find,” a family of six meets their demise on the side of the road in Georgia after a gang of convicts lead by The Misfit brutally murders each member of the family. The story starts off in an upbeat tone and sets up a seemingly happy plot about a family going on vacation to Florida. However, the grandmother does not listen to her son about taking her cat on the trip and her disobedience ultimately leads to all of their deaths. The author changes the tone of the story at the end when the family gets into a wreck and faces a gruesome death by a crazed armed killer on the loose (O’Connor#).

In the short story, “A Good Man is Hard to Find”, the author, Flannery O 'Connor, demonstrates how a short story can contain many aspects of feminism without one even noticing. Looking at the short story through a feminist point of view, one can quickly gather that O’Connor uses the old school gender roles from the very beginning of the short story. As reading the title, it automatically suggests the male characters in this short story are untrustworthy, not prevalent, and dangerous. With that being said, the female characters in this story are viewed in the eyes of how a woman should act.

Lane contemplates his feeling towards Sherri and his Christian beliefs. In “Good People” Lane A. Dean Jr. is the main character desperate to be a good person.
Can we consider people as Good or Evil? People can be defined as neither good nor evil because many factors lead to us being a mixture of both. One of these factors is that we only have one perspective of life and the actions they do. This means we don 't have all the information to be able to form an opinion on them. Another factor is that we are unable to measure how good or bad an action is.
