Small town girl Casey Anthony became infamous after the suspicious disappearance of her daughter, Caylee Anthony. As her case unfolded, she had many lies and criminal charges, stacked against her. This unfair trial led the majority of americans to believe she was unquestionably guilty.
Casey’s troubles began early on. As a teenage girl, casey started getting into the bad habit of lying in highschool. She began with lying about her graduating high school only for her parents to find out at graduation that Casey had stopped attending. She then lied about being pregnant with Caylee, once they found out the truth she never revealed who the true father was.

Casey’s parents receive a letter that her car has been abandoned and towed. When they go to pick it up, they find some odd things that alarm them and the car has a strong smell of something decomposing. Casey’s mom confronts her and she breaks down saying that the babysitter had kidnapped Caylee. Her mom calls the police to

inform them that her daughter stole the family car, that her grand daughter is missing and that the car smells like it has a dead body in it. When the police question Casey, she is caught in several lies, including that of the babysitter that does not exist. Police later searched her computer only to find that she had researched chloroform. Chloroform was also found in the trunk of Casey’s car. Cadaver dogs picked up the scent of a decomposing body and DNA evidence was found in the trunk. Caylee’s remains were later found in the woods. In the days leading up to Casey’s arrest, she was out partying with friends and getting tattoos. Casey’s relationship with her mother was a tumultuous one; her wild partying combined with that relationship may have lead her to this end.
