uzanne Collins, an American television writer and author, was born on August 10, 1962. Suzanne Collins was born in Hartford, Connecticut. Suzanne Collins was the daughter of an Airforce pilot. Suzanne was the youngest out of all four children. In 1981 Suzanne graduated high school from Alabama school of Fine Arts. A couple years after that in 1985 Suzanne graduated Indiana University, as a double major in the theater and telecommunications. After graduating college Suzanne then went to earn a masters degree in dramatic writing from New York University. Suzanne then started writing when she moved into television, when she wrote for television programs, the programs included, “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Little Bear”. Her writings caught a special person's attention, this person was James Proimos. James Proimos was the the creator of WB children's Program Generation O! James thern hired Suzanne as his head writer. In 2003, Suzanne published “Gregor the overlander”, which was the first book of “The Underland Chronicles”.
