You can talk to people from the other side of the world, date people with a flick of a finger and play online games with people you have never even seen before. However, with all this tech dominating some things slip though the cracks. One of those things is Catfishing. “('Cat·fish [kat-fish]: To pretend to be someone you're not online by posting false information, such as someone else's pictures, on social media sites, usually with the intention of getting someone to fall in love with you.')” – Oxford Dictionary. In the show, both main characters Noah and Saskia talk to each other in a chat room called “Webweave”. Noah is “Max Hammer” and Saskia is “Indy”. In real life, however they believe that their avatar is what they look like (this also leads to things such as online relationships, etc.), this creates an illusion of security, making them think they could trust each other. This leads to them saying stuff they wouldn’t mean and making Saskia even fall in love with Max! This occurrence happens around episode 3-5 (if you want to watch) and really shows that anyone can be fooled into an illusion. In the show, Webweave is starting to take up their whole life and its starting to worry their family and friends. In the show Clive saids “At least the Girls I know aren’t hardware”.
