Elk County Catholic Tuition: A Worthwhile Payment “Money doesn’t grow on trees, so spend it wisely,” is something that could be heard from my father growing up. The cost of tuition that families pay to send their child to a Catholic school is high, and many people have difficulty affording it. The tuition at Elk County Catholic High School currently is $4,560 per year. From a logical standpoint, people ask themselves that if the other school in town charges nothing, why would I chose Elk County Catholic? After the rebranding project was done at ECCSS people started asking themselves a new kind of question: Is ECC worth the tuition? Countless people wonder what is different that makes ECC so superior to the other? The academics are outstanding at Elk County Catholic and as a school we take pride in that. When a student is in the classroom, he or she is being enlightened in mind, body, and spirit. God is the spring where our knowledge comes from, through Him individuals gain intelligence. The success in academics is accredited to God the Father. The intent of the academics is to help students become well rounded young adults who will be contributing members to their mother church through Christ, the giver of our success. Christ works within the students and staff at ECCSS because he is called upon almost each hour of the day for help and this helps Him intercede through them. Another point referring to academics is that Elk County Catholic’s administration realizes that each student will go on to different great things with their lives, and they need different classes in order to be successful. The administration, with guidance, allows students and parents to create a schedule that will fit each student and his or her needs.
