According to catholic.org, an online source, “Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press, was Catholic and the first book ever printed was the Catholic Bible”. The Roman Catholic church is the largest Christian church, with more than 1.28 billion members worldwide. The Pentecostal church is often called the Renewal Movement. The Pentecostal faith is different than Catholicism because of the way they establish church leadership, conduct services and hold marriage ceremonies.

For instance, in the Pentecostal church they have a Sunday Service has their main time of worship. They look at this time as a celebration of Christ or even has a victory. In most Pentecostal churches you will see that they have Sunday services, Wednesday services, and on Sunday 's they have classes specifically for children. The most ordinary type of service includes time for worship, the message and for prayer (also called an "alter call"). According to, bbc.co.uk, an online source, "Pentecostalism is energetic and dynamic. Its members believe they are driven by the power of God moving within them". This quote shows the true way that most Pentecostals worship and view the services that they attend. On the other hand, Catholics have their services or time for worship set up differently than the Pentecostal church does. They call their main service "Mass" and they state that mass is "the source and summit of the Christian life". During Mass they reenact the sacrifice of Christ. During the week not a day passes without a Mass. They have Mass weekly and on the weekend. They also have a holiday worship service like for Good Friday or Easter. They do not have a Sunday school for children in the Catholic church, they believe that all children should be included with the adults. For example, in the Pentecostal church they have a simple, laid out way of doing a wedding ceremony. They start with the wedding party coming in and then a prayer following that. Then they do the giving away of the bride and a scripture reading is done. Next, the wedding vows are said from the bride and groom. Then, they do the exchanging of rings. Next, they close the ceremony with a prayer and the kiss to set the couple on their merry way. Finally, the have their recessional, and that is just the after party of the ceremony. In contrast, the Catholic church has a very complex way of doing their wedding ceremony. They have four sections in their ceremony, and each section has multiple steps within each one filled with traditions and structure. They start with the order of celebrating matrimony which consists of the statement of intentions and the declaration of consent (exchange of marriage vows). Then, they follow it with the nuptial blessings and exchange of rings. Next, the service is followed by the entrance rite. This is the greeting and opening prayer. Then, is the Liturgy of the word. This includes the first, second and gospel reading. The third step is the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Which is the prep on the altar and the prayer over the gifts. It also includes the Catholic Mass preface and the Eucharistic prayer for a wedding and then ends this third section with a wedding prayer after
