Some people say the assassination of President Kennedy was the most heartfelt tragedy in the history of the United States. President Kennedy’s personality and the way he goes about himself is what really captured the media even before he was assassinated. Media said that because Kennedy was so young that he was inexperienced, and or not eligible for the task of running a country. Kennedy took responsibility and accomplished his goal of the White House. He won the hard-fought election of 1960 and served as the 35th President of the United States from 1961 until his assassination in 1963. Oswald was shot by Jack Ruby before being convicted. Ruby then died of cancer while the date of his trial was being established.
