There is always a cause and effect to everything we do in our lives. Some cause and effects are good and some are terrible. Watching Driving Miss Daisy, Miss Daisy had numerous causes and effects in her life as she got older, and boy were they terrible for her at first, but along the way she knew it was just what she needed. One cause and effect is the fact that she had her accident, and ran into the bush. The effect to that is her son paid someone to be her driver. That one beautiful morning Miss Daisy was getting ready to start her day, ended up to be her worse day ever, and changed her life also. BOOM!! Miss Daisy runs into the bushes, neighbors watching and all. She knew she did wrong, but didn't want to admit it. So her son was concerned, and come up with an idea. He thought since he couldn't be with her all the time, and since he was worried about her safety, what better idea than to hire someone to drive her around. In reality he knew she was getting older also. So he hired Hoke to drive his mother around. When she got the news she was shocked and upset that her son did such a thing. Hoke was just as feisty as her and he knew that she needed a driver too, so he followed her until she was embarrassed, and she had no choice but to get in the car, and so it begun; Hoke driving Miss Daisy. He took her places and did things for her, and she did things for him too. Like teaching him how to read and keeping him with a job. I guess you can say that another effect to not only her needing a driver, but she got a best friend in the process. Her and Hoke stayed getting into it, but he was always there for her. She knew that as she got older the only person she could trust was Hoke, and she said that at the end of the move when she was sitting in the chair in the nursing home.
