Consequences Of Global Warming

Global warming has grown up to be a serious problem in today 's earth. The definition of global warming is an increase in the average temperature of the earth 's atmosphere, especially a sustained increase sufficient to result in climatic change. Firstly, there are some people take it as a good thing. But later, scientists realized that it was not good news for human-beings or even the whole earth. Once carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases 1 time, the average global temperatures will rise 1.5 ~ 4.5 ℃, and the temperature increases in the polar regions are about 3 times higher than the average. There are many factors cause the global warming and the global warming has brought a lot of serious consequences. Therefore people began to attach …show more content…

They did thousands of experiments and studied whether there is a contact between the rising of temperature and the sun. Depending on the mass data from amounts of experiments, scientists denied this assumption. Studies have shown that human activity is the main cause of global warming. ‘Even a seemingly slight average temperature rise is enough to cause a dramatic transformation of our planet.’ Denchak (2016) said.
This research paper will list a variety of reasons of global warming and the resulting consequences. Through these questions, global warming can be better understood. The main cause of global warming is the greenhouse effect. It makes the earth a big greenhouse and the temperature of it is rising. The greenhouse effect is mainly due to the burning of fossil fuels such as coal. And global warming caused the sea level rising, the grain cannot grow and many other …show more content…

Fossil fuels such as coal are the main source of energy in the past. The burning of fossil fuels produces the gases such as carbon dioxide, water vapour and methane. These greenhouse gases are highly permeable to visible light from the sun, and to the long wave radiation emitted by the earth has highly absorbent. It can strongly absorb infrared radiation in the ground, causing the earth 's temperature rise. This is the greenhouse effect. When the greenhouse effect is accumulated, the energy absorption and emission of the earth atmosphere system are unbalanced. Energy continues to accumulate in the earth 's atmosphere, which leading the temperatures rising. It causes global
