World war one was the first of two wars that will never be forgotten. The loss of land, millions of dollars, and millions of lives was some things that resulted from this terrible situation. Many argue on who or what was the underlying cause of this war, but there's more than one reason. During this time many people were people treated poorly and unfairly creating lots of anger. Early 20th century was a time about to join an ugly but necessary revolution. People in Serbia were unhappy and annoyed with being treated poorly and had no other to fix it, but remove the prince of Austria. The man who assassinated Archduke claimed to be a part of Serbia, leading to many problems. The result of the assassination of Archduke, the alliance system, and unequal power of other countries lead to what we consider WW1. There were two groups of alliance during this time, one being the Central powers involving Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy. The other alliance system was called Allied Powers with Russia, France, and Great Britain, and the United States involved. Therefor with the Assassination of Archduke the Central power had to step in making the allied powers also become involved. Document A displays how close all the countries where to each other making it easier for transportation of lethal weapons and troops. The close quarter battles are what led to so many deaths and land lost for almost every country in Europe. Looking at document C one can see who was most fierce in winning this war.
