WWI started July 28th 1914 when Gavrilo killed Archduke Franz Ferdinand and it ended on november 11th 1918 because of the treaty of versailles. World War I is a conflict between the Central Powers and the Allies. The Central Powers consist of Austria-Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire. Important allied powers are Serbia, Russia, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium and the United States.
